Nandaprayag - Second Prayag in Panch Prayag

Nandaprayag is the second Prayag located at 75 km ahead from Vishnuprayag & 105 Kms from Badrinath in Chamoli district. The confluence of river Alaknanda & river Nandakini takes place at Nandaprayag. It is believed that the place is named after the Yadava King, Nanda foster father of god Krishna & there is a famous Nand temple also on the confluence.
