Places To Visit:
Kanatal - Kanatal is a beautiful hamlet in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand. It is a perfect getaway for long weekends and Christmas & New Year celebrations. Every Year at the time of winter this place attracts thousands of tourists and travelers. It is around 9 km from the Surkanda Devi Temple. Camping and trekking is the main activity which tourists love to try.
Dhanaulti - Dhanaulti is also a pristine hill station near Surkanda Devi Temple. It is about 6-7 km before Kadukhal (the starting point of the trek). This hill station is generally not very crowded, but it gets packed with tourists in winters, Christmas, NewYear time. During the peak season of winter and summer, when Mussoorie gets crowded, people prefer this place for their stay.
Eco Park - It is a newly constructed Eco Park in Dhanaulti. It is around 6.5 km from Surkanda Devi Trek. The park has beautiful tall deodar trees and various other different trees. You can also see the different birds in season time. For entry, you have to pay 20-50 rupees entry charges.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive at Kanatal
Check-in at the campsite any-time after 12:00 noon. After stalled into the campsite, enjoy the lunch. Later commence an easy trek deep into Kodia Jungle for 04 Km approx, where you will spot musk deer, wild boar, and nilgai, and barking deer. Later participate into exciting activities like Zipline & Valley crossing. At evening enjoy bonfire & delicious Indian/local cuisine with overnight halt at camp.
Day 2 Kanatal
Morning enjoys a hot cup of tea and a healthy breakfast. Now ready for beautiful Surkanda Devi temple trek of 05 Kms. This trek takes you through the dense pine and oak forest. Temple provides the best beautiful view all across the direction. By afternoon return back to the campsite for lunch. Later start for another exciting place "Tehri Lake" a place to enjoy the water activity i.e. jet skiing, speed boat, and boating, etc. Drive back to Kanatal for dinner & overnight stay.
Day 3 Departure from Kanatal
Wake up early, enjoy a cup of tea with beautiful sunrise view. After having breakfast check out and head towards onward destination.
