Day 1
Chandigarh – Manali (Drive 270 Kms/7 Hrs approx)
Embark on a scenic journey in the morning from Chandigarh to Manali drive through the breathtaking landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. The route from Chandigarh to Manali offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and thrilling mountainous roads. The journey takes you through the enchanting towns of Kullu and Mandi, where you can take a pit stop. By late afternoon you will reach Manali, upon arrival check in at the hotel. Later proceed for a leisurely stroll along the charming Mall Road in Manali and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this popular hill station. Mall Road is a bustling promenade that serves as the heart of Manali, offering a delightful mix of shops, restaurants, and local attractions, a visit to Manali is incomplete without experiencing the charm of Mall Road. After exploring return back to the hotel for restful stay and Dinner.
Day 2
Manali — Solang Valley — Sissu Lake – Atal Tunnel
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to the magnificent Solang Valley. Here, there are a wide array of thrilling adventure activities, i.e. Zorbing, snow scooter rides, horse riding, paragliding, skiing, and more. Continue your journey by riding to the picturesque Sissu Lake, crossing the renowned Atal Tunnel along the way. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and spend some quality time in this serene location. There are other places to spot like the serene Nehru Kund, the picturesque Him Valley, and the charming Gulaba. Then return back to the for overnight stay.
Note: you can opt for - “Rohtang Pass” it is also nearby spot renowned to experience the snow-capped mountains and many activities. Also note that due to restrictions imposed by the National Green Tribunal, there is a limit on the number of vehicles permitted to enter Rohtang Pass each day. As a result, access to Rohtang Pass is subject to the availability on-the-spot permits, which may incur additional costs on a shared or individual basis, depending on the guest's requirements. Moreover, Rohtang Pass remain closed every Tuesday.
Day 3
Manali Sightseeing
Morning enjoying a delicious breakfast, then head for your first destination - Vashisht, where you will commence your trek to Jogini Falls. On your way back, make sure to visit the renowned Vashisht temple and the rejuvenating Hot Water Spring. Return to the hotel and take some time to relax. In the later part of the day, visit the Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple, and the vibrant Old Manali Market. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Manali.
Day 4
Manali - Dharamshala (Drive 260 Kms/7 hrs approx)
Start early today around 7 AM. Embark on a scenic journey from Manali to Dharamshala. Dharamshala, a serene destination known for its breath-taking monasteries and as the residence of His Holiness The Dalai Lama. Along the way, make a stop at the revered Chamunda Devi Temple to offer your prayers. Upon arrival in Dharamshala, check in to your hotel after fresh-up proceed to explore McLeod Ganj, a vibrant suburb of Dharamshala, known as "Little Lhasa" due to its large Tibetan community. The most important Buddhist site in the town is Tsuglagkhang or Tsuglag Khang or Dalai Lama temple. Also Explore the bustling streets, visit the Namgyal Monastery, and soak in the Tibetan culture and spirituality. If time allows then visit BhagsuNath Temple, Bhagsu WaterFall. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5
Dharamshala – Amritsar (Drive 200 Kms/5 hrs approx)
Today after breakfast proceed drive to Amritsar. By afternoon you will reach Amritsar Hotel. In the evening, experience the awe-inspiring 'Retreat' ceremony at the Wagah Border which held during sunset. Witness the remarkable display as armed soldiers, adorned in their distinctive uniforms, perform a ceremonious parade, symbolizing the closing of the border gates and the lowering of their respective flags.
Day 6
Amritsar
Begin your day with a delightful breakfast, followed by a visit to the renowned Golden Temple. Also referred to as Harimandir Sahib or the Temple of God, this majestic structure is famously known as the Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib, situated in the vibrant city of Amritsar in Punjab. Serving as a vital symbol of the spiritual and historical legacy of the Sikh community, the Golden Temple holds great significance as the primary place of pilgrimage and a constant source of inspiration for Sikhs worldwide. Later take a leisurely walk to the nearby Jalianwala Bagh. This historical site holds profound importance in India's freedom struggle.
Day 7
Amritsar Departure
You will be provided with timely departure to the railway station/Airport to connect to your onward destination.
