which he ascended to Vaikunth (heaven). The temple is named after this sacred ‘Badri tree’.
In the 8th century, the revered saint Adi Shankaracharya discovered an idol of Lord Vishnu near this site, which
led to an influx of Vishnu devotees. This place is imbued with immense divine energy, which is why people from
all over visit to experience it.
