Day 1
Chandigarh – Shimla (Drive 120 Kms/04 hrs approx)
Upon arrival at Chandigarh airport , you will be provided drive to Shimla. Check-in at the hotel. Relax for a while and then head for Jakhu Temple” Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to the Hindu deity Hanuman. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill, Shimla's highest peak, 2.5 km east of the Ridge at a height of 2,455 m above sea level. Discover the Kali Bari Temple, explore the bustling Lakkad Bazaar and Lower Bazaar, and take a leisurely stroll along the famous Mall Road of Shimla. The evening is free for you to enjoy shopping and explore the vibrant atmosphere of the mall at your own pace. Later, return to your hotel for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2
Exploring the Enchanting Charms of Naldehra and Kufri
Embark on an exciting excursion to the beautiful destinations of Naldehra and Kufri. Shimla - Manali (280 kms .7/8 hrs)
Drive from Shimla to Manali on the way covering sightseeing with Sunder Nagar Lake, Pandoh Dam and Hanogi Temple. Arrive Manali Transfer to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Solang Valley Expedition
After having breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will proceed towards Solang Valley. Situated at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India, it is located 14 km northwest of the popular resort town, Manali, on the way to Rohtang Pass. Solang Valley is renowned for its excellent conditions for both summer and winter sports. Visitors can indulge in a variety of thrilling sports activities such as parachuting, paragliding, skating, and zorbing. These exciting adventures attract adventurers from all over who seek adrenaline-pumping experiences. After enjoying the sports and exploring the scenic beauty of Solang Valley, we will drive back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5
Discovering the Charms of Manali: Exploring Local Treasures
Embark on a delightful local sightseeing tour of Manali after a leisurely breakfast. Day 6
Manali - Amritsar (Drive 400 Kms approx)
To make the most of your day, begin your journey from Manali to Amritsar in the early morning. Please note that this is a long drive, spanning approximately 12 hours. On arrival check in at the hotel, freshen and unwind after long drive. Evening is free for independent leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotels.
Day 7
Explore Amritsar - Iconic city known for Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and Wagah Border Retreat
Embark on an enriching tour of Amritsar, beginning with a visit to the iconic Golden Temple after a satisfying breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time to relax and rejuvenate. In the evening, around 3 PM, embark on a drive to the Wagah Border, where you will witness the impressive Closing Ceremony. The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 PM every day and showcases a synchronized military practice between the security forces of India and Pakistan. Experience the electric atmosphere as soldiers from both sides participate in a spirited parade. The highlight of the ceremony is the lowering of the national flags, accompanied by a perfectly coordinated retreat. Witness this captivating display of patriotism on an international level.
As the sun sets, the iron gates at the border are opened, and the flags are ceremoniously lowered and folded. The event concludes with soldiers from each side engaging in a firm handshake.
